I got news of this on my Twitterfeed - NYILY is releasing podcasts, apparently for each segment - and Orlando's is the first! cheer2.gif It's a must-see; it starts out as an animation by the director, Iwai Shunji (explaining that he doesn't speak English, so it's translated), and talks about the filming a bit (he has some funny things to say about Orlando!) It then shows the storyboards fastquicklike (and could be spoilers if you don't want to know anything). There's also a clip from the segment - Orlando walking down the street, talking on his iPhone. iheart.gif

You can download it from iTunes - look for "New York, I Love You: Meet The Filmmakers" (I found it by searching for 'Meet the Filmmakers').



For those of you who don't have and/or don't want to download iTunes, I've converted the podcast into 'hi' and 'lo'. Trust me on this, you REALLY want to see it full screen size if possible.

DOWNLOAD:
Hi - MPG, 64MB (the file is huge as it's a full-screen video)
Lo- WMV, 16MB (small screen)

Bless you, Jan. Doesn't he look good, and so at ease in this? I want to see this more than ever now. I'm sure I'll watch this clip many, many times. Just from what I could pick up on the first view, he really gets a chance to show what he can do. And once again, his director loves him. iheart.gif

Oh, fun stuff! Thanks for your late night efforts, Jan! I'm going to do a stop/start on this and see if I can catch some of the things coming out of animated Orlando's mouth. But it will have to wait until later.

I had to keep the sound down too, because I'm in the livingroom and my daughter is watching TV and I can't find my ear phones. So, I have something to look forward to.
