I got news of this on my Twitterfeed - NYILY is releasing podcasts, apparently for each segment - and Orlando's is the first! It's a must-see; it starts out as an animation by the director, Iwai Shunji (explaining that he doesn't speak English, so it's translated), and talks about the filming a bit (he has some funny things to say about Orlando!) It then shows the storyboards fastquicklike (and could be spoilers if you don't want to know anything). There's also a clip from the segment - Orlando walking down the street, talking on his iPhone.
You can download it from iTunes - look for "New York, I Love You: Meet The Filmmakers" (I found it by searching for 'Meet the Filmmakers').
For those of you who don't have and/or don't want to download iTunes, I've converted the podcast into 'hi' and 'lo'. Trust me on this, you REALLY want to see it full screen size if possible.
DOWNLOAD: Hi - MPG, 64MB (the file is huge as it's a full-screen video) Lo- WMV, 16MB (small screen)

It's downloading now! Thanks, Jan. I think this well be as close to seeing it as it gets for me. I can't find anything about a UK release date, anywhere.

What a great surprise after the not so nice morning I've been having, so this definitely made me feel better! After seeing that exclusive clip from Orlando's segment, now I really can't wait to see this movie!
Thank you so much Jan for finding and bringing this over for us to enjoy!

Bless you, Jan. Doesn't he look good, and so at ease in this? I want to see this more than ever now. I'm sure I'll watch this clip many, many times. Just from what I could pick up on the first view, he really gets a chance to show what he can do. And once again, his director loves him.

Oh, fun stuff! Thanks for your late night efforts, Jan! I'm going to do a stop/start on this and see if I can catch some of the things coming out of animated Orlando's mouth. But it will have to wait until later.
I had to keep the sound down too, because I'm in the livingroom and my daughter is watching TV and I can't find my ear phones. So, I have something to look forward to.
Thanks again, Jan!
Ahh, the Lace Flowers are in bloom. It must be high summer in Mirkwood. Thanks Ermina
Many thanks, Jan! After a long and difficult day of work I needed something to cheer me up, and this really did do the trick. I shall now go and watch it again! Phone, cup of coffee and paperbag, how difficult can life get?
