Kim
Well, I just checked my order for Romeo & Juliet at Amazon.com and the release date has been changed to April 28th! It was April 14th and Amazon even had an estimated delivery date of April 20th! Why was the date changed? :beatsme: I hope they don't change it again and I get my DVD! I can't wait to see Orlando as Romeo and I thought my wait was almost over and now I have to wait at least another two weeks. :shout:Kim
cinemapersians
I have it on my Amazon Wish List! :cheer2:Kim, you can do a digital download NOW, if you don't want to wait until April 28th. :thumbsup:Pam
Kim
I think I can wait, it isn't that far away now. Besides The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies will be coming out on Netflix on the 21st, so I will be seeing that soon. :)Thank you Pam. :hug:Kim
serendipity
Kim, I just got an e-mail from Amazon stating my estimated delivery date is now May 5th. :( I guess I'm feeling kind of happy, sad. Happy it's been confirmed, but sad it's been delayed. I hope this is the last time!
Kim
Yes, I got that same e-mail. It is still coming out on the 28th of April and seeing that I chose standard shipping this is why the estimated delivery is May 5th, but it could come sooner than that. Its like they say, "great things come to those who wait" and we have definitely done that. :)Kim

Kim
WOW! I watched my DVD last night and I thought Orlando was absolutely outstanding! OMG! What a performance he gave as Romeo. He did every emotion that you can think of this in his performance, from being funny to falling in love with Juliet to being angry and lovesick when he learned he had been banished after killing Tybalt and knowing he would be separated from his Juliet. But of course the toughest part for me was the end when Romeo takes that poison and dies not knowing that Juliet was really not dead! :bawl: This also showed now agile Orlando is, the way he was moving about the stage, especially the way he got off the balcony after the scene with Juliet. Afterwards, I had a hard time going to sleep after that because I was all wound up with emotion myself. Even now I can still see him in my mind. :hott:Also, I thought every one else in the cast was outstanding and that part with Romeo, Mercutio and Benvolio where they fall on top of each other and the Nurse comes along and catches them I thought was really funny. And the fight scene where Mercutio and Tybalt was killed was exciting. Every thing about the way they did this play I thought was well done right down to when they changed from one act to the next. I liked how there wasn't much to the scenery because it kept the focus on the actors and the storyline, it was perfect I thought. Well, I am so happy I finally got the DVD and got to see Orlando as Romeo and he was definitely worth the wait. :sheangel:Kim
serendipity
Kim, I knew you would love it! All the scenes you mentioned were fantastic, but one of my favorites was their first meeting at the dance. It was so sweet and funny. Watching their faces you can see them falling in love.
Kim
I agree with you Serendipity and I was falling in love with Romeo right along with Juliet. I bet the expression on my face matched hers. Another thing I forgot to mention was one of the first scenes where it looks like Romeo is scaling the wall, he is still wearing the motorcycle helmet when he starts climbing the wall and at one point he looks like he sitting on side of the wall but I was like how is he sitting there because I didn't see any ledge or anything else that he could be sitting on. :beatsme: Did anyone else notice that or was I imagining things. Well, lets see how long I go before I watch him again. :shiny:Kim
