Sorry to say but the reviewer for the Daily Mail didn't like the film at all. He gave it a turkey (which means he thought it was really bad). I won't go into details as it's a two page review but to quote two paragraphs:

Bloom is so uninteresting, and uninterested, that he looks as if he's modelling suntan products

and

The eagerly awaited £150 million blockbuster Pirates of the Carribean 3 proves to be beyond hope- the most depressing, expensive maritime disaster since the sinking of the Lusitania. It's a big, bloated bore.

He then goes on to say that it's pointless.

:bat: Let me at him!

I loved the film. I'm no critic, but it definitely isn't a turkey. There are things that could have been changed, but it doesn't take anything away from the fact that it's a -

Jolly good romp! - Orlando Bloom

I'm really getting fed up with the Orlando bashing. I think the critics are being lazy and are all singing to the same tune. :lalala: As many people who have seen the film have said, Orlando has grown as an actor as each movie has been filmed. This is his baby, some of his scenes are amazing.

Enough from me, or I won't stop. Even my free local rag has had a pop at Orlando in their review.

Likewise, Lemme at 'im!

If there was one slightly bad thing about AWE it was the vaguely slow start, but it was a minor detail compared the great achievement that is the rest of the film. Orlando's acting should be last on the list of things to critise since I think AWE is his greatest acting achievement so far. He is absolutely brilliant in it.

Similarly if I don't stop now, then I never will!

*grumble*critics :bat: They don't like the film? Our gain, their loss.
