  1. What fun I am having viewing the Orlando gorgeousness tonight! Reliving days from the past. I am sure we will be having more of these glorious days in the coming weeks with more photos and reports from kabloomies seeing the play and the stage door photo ops. Then with the next Hobbit film coming out even more fun. I am so glad ka-bloom.org is still here to help us all enjoy all that is Orlando. Thank you so very much for your continuued committment to sharing Orlando with us.

  2. Georgia KaBloomies, anyone interested in a field trip to the Okeefenokee Swamp this fall?:teehee: I think Orlando has perfect comedic timing. This sounds like a hoot!

Kim, I'd love to visit the Okeefenokee Swamp with you in hopes we could have a CEOK! I'm still teaching part time but I'm positive I could make it work!

  3. Regardless if the concept art is the real deal or not I am and will remain excited about this project for Orlando. I, too, love science fiction and a sci-fi with him would be amazing. We've been waiting a while for something like this for him. I have confidence it will happen and that it will be fantastic!

  4. All these new projects in the works.I knew re-retirement was the right thing for me. Now I'll have all the time needed to watch Orlando at the movies over and over and over again. Whoohoo!

  5. Yah! Sci-Fi I love it and I'll love it even more with Orlando playing a lead role. I am going to have to learn patience waiting on these two movies to come to the big screen.

  6. This sounds so wonderful for Orlando. He is apparently enjoying himeself.filming the dismantling and rebuilding is a major undertaking.and doing it while he is acting as well. I'm with Adrienne, I hope we not only get to see it, but hear Orlando narrate as well. definitely exciting news! Thanks for sharing.

  7. Oh, my gosh! These images are some of the best I have ever seen of Orlando. Seeing him interacting with the children is so beautiful. Orlando seems totally engrossed in the little ones activities. I "want" the Getty image of him walking and holding the little boy's hand. Thank you so much for bringing them to us!

  8. This is very exciting and long awaited news! I'm with JessiBear though.gotta go re-read the Hobbit to see where they might divide the story. Now we await the casting news and will the filming be in New Zealand again?

I have to add that my only not so good thought about this news is that I immediately thought ~ I'll be ** years old when the Hobbit finally comes to the big screen! Sorry, but that next decade number is becoming a bit unbelievable to me.

Thank you for sharing this wonderful news!

  9. Over the last two years, we've seen many costume spectacles lace up their boots again with fresh DVD cuts, ranging from a test of the old "can't polish a turd" theory in Oliver Stone's "Alexander" to the majesty of Ridely Scott's "Kingdom of Heaven" restoration.

I don't know why, but I love this line.

I so love that line as well. I still hope one day KOH Director's Cut will play on a big screen. I do think one day KOH will receive the acclaim it was due.

Okay, enought thread jacking. I am going to purchase this DC tomorrow!
