REGISTRATION
Your FiveCon ticket costs $157.00 per person. Included in the price:
- Buffet dinner at the Thursday night welcome reception
- Lunch on Friday somewhere special in Boston
- Friday night get-together for films, chat and fun & games
- Saturday night get-together for films, flinging and raffling
- Assorted Goodies
- A 7 day pass for unlimited travel on the Boston subway system
The Fine Print
Airfare and hotel room costs are not included in the FiveCon ticket price. Each individual is responsible for booking their own hotel room and flight. The FiveCon T-shirt is optional and not included in the ticket price.Photos taken at FiveCon may be posted in the members area on the ka-Bloom forum. By registering, you are giving your permission for such pictures in which you appear to be posted. If you do NOT wish pictures in which you are in the foreground to be posted, then please contact fivecon2008@ka-bloom.org and we will pass on this information to all attendees.
Everyone must buy a FiveCon Ticket. There are no exceptions or discounts. Even if you are not able to attend one of the functions which is included in the ticket price, you must still purchase a full ticket.
No FiveCon Tickets will be sold at the door. Everyone must pre-register and payment must clear by August 14, 2008.
To Register You Must:
- Be an ACTIVE MEMBER of ka-Bloom. That means participating in the community and having 20 posts or more, including some within the past 6 months. This is meant to be a gathering of people who have made friendships at ka-Bloom.
- Be 21 years of age or older.
- So there are no misunderstandings, spouses/SOs are welcome to accompany you to Boston. However, all of our meals together and film evenings are OFF LIMITS. There is plenty of free time built into the weekend to have get-togethers outside of scheduled events for those spouses/SOs who accompany members on the trip. Thank you for your understanding.
