EMBASSY SUITES BOSTON

This year we will be staying at the Embassy Suites Boston near Logan International Airport. All rooms are suites and include a small sitting room with a sofa bed and a bedroom with 2 queen size beds.

The room rate per night is $169, plus 12.45% state and local taxes. This includes:

• hot buffet / cooked to order breakfast
• evening manager’s reception with complimentary soft drinks and nibbles
• free transfer from the airport to the hotel

Maximum occupancy per suite is four persons.

For anyone wishing to extend their stay, our special rate of $169 will be available for the 3 nights preceding and following the convention.

High speed internet access is available in the guest suites for $9.95 per 24 hours including secure remote printing. Alternatively, the hotel business centre is open 24 hours a day and offers free internet access and printing. There is also a heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, to help you unwind after an eventful day.

Booking:

Please note, if you wish to book for the nights of Monday 22nd September or Tuesday 30th September, or if you are booking for 3 or 4 people in a room, please read this post before proceeding.

If you are booking by telephone, please make sure that you say you are booking for the ka-Bloom convention.

All reservations must be made by August 26, 2008 to receive the convention rate. After this date our room block will be released and any reservations will be subject to space and rate availability.

The hotel requires a method of guarantee at the time of making your reservation. Reservations are subject to a 24-hour cancellation fee. Reservations may be cancelled up to 24 hours in advance of check in day.

Each individual is responsible for their room, tax and incidental charges upon departure. ka-Bloom is not responsible for any individual room charges.

Check-in time begins at 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival; and check-out time is 12:00 noon on the day of departure.

Parking at the hotel is $32 plus tax per day.

Roommates:
Please complete the roommate request form after registering if you would like ka-Bloom to find a roommate for you.

Transportation:
On arrival at the airport, and having collected your luggage, follow the signs to go outside to the shuttle buses. Call the hotel on (617) 567-5000 and tell them that you are waiting outside the terminal to be picked up; say which airline you arrived with and the hotel will know which terminal you are waiting at. It takes about 2 minutes for the shuttle to get over to the terminals.

The Embassy Suites is a short walk from the Boston subway (the “T”). The hotel offers a free shuttle service for anyone not wishing to walk.
